Halloween 2012

My cutie-pies all dressed up for Halloween!  My boys were so excited to be Power Rangers.  They didn't even care that the only costume I could find was the red one so they matched.  We had a busy night with 2 different parties and 2 rounds of trick-or-treating.  We have just a *little* candy in our house now.  I have hidden away 3 gallon bags worth after stuffing the candy jars full.

Not sure why she is throwing the football with her left hand, silly girl!

My little Abby Cadabby

Kylie loves Abby Cadabby.  She is Elmo's cousin on Sesame Street.  She's this adorable little fairy that flits around.  I found this costume for $3 at a consignment sale and snagged it!  We added the turquoise Toms she got for her birthday and the hair bows, and all set!  Today she got to wear her costume to preschool because they went all through the high school and trick-or-treated the classrooms.  She was so excited!  She was up at 7am to get ready.  Kathryn was fully in charge of Kylie this morning and she made her into the perfect Abby!  When I finally drug my butt out of bed at 8am to take pictures and take Kylie to school, I was so thrilled at what a cute little Abby Kathryn had turned Kylie into.  And look at all the candy she got!  Sheesh!

Pumpkin Patch 2012

We braved the wet weather and mud today and headed out to the Pumpkin Patch this morning.  We've found going on a weekday in the mornings is great - not busy at all!  There are usually a few school field trips, but that's it.  This will be the last year of doing this since the boys will be in 1st grade next year.  Anyway, we got pumpkins, gourds, pumpkin and apple cider donuts, apple cider and the most beautiful dahlias ever.  My kitchen table is very happy with me right now.  Kylie gets to go to the pumpkin patch with her preschool on Thursday so she will get another pumpkin and gourd as well then.

Senior Recognition night

Last night was our last regular season home game.  It was also senior recognition night.  I was so privileged and honored to stand down there with Matthew as one of his parents.  I am so proud of him and all that he has accomplished.  We pulled out a close (too close!) win against South Salem, 30 to 29.  Here are some pictures from the night.  It rained off and on so we all look a little cold and wet.

This was Matthew giving an interview for the paper.  He always does such a good job with his interviews. There was a video of him on the Statesman website today talking about clinching the CVC title.  If we beat McNary next week, the title will be all ours. Go Titans!!!
