Have the 14 yr. old teach the 2 yr. olds how to play Blackjack. The boys love playing with the poker chips and cards because they see Daddy, Matthew and Kathryn playing with them, so Matthew decided to get out the cards and marbles and teach the boys a thing or two.

Its a GIRL!!!
Well, I have to say, I'm a little surprised. I really thought this baby would be a boy. But, nope...a girl! I am very excited, although I can still hardly believe it! The baby was not very cooperative today for the ultrasound, so we didn't get a very good profile picture, but this gives you the general idea.

Aren't new beds for jumping on?
The boys are spending another weekend with Grandma and Papa while I get a little bit of rest at home. The boys absolutely love spending time at their house. They get to play outside with Papa in the mud, chase around the cat and dog, do lots of cooking....today the boys helped make cookies and chicken and dumplings, and Zachary got to help wash dishes!
Beautiful Beach Days
Mike and I got to escape away to Lincoln City last week for a night without the kids. We lucked out and got the most beautiful weather possible! It was warm and calm on the beach and we walked and sat and watched the ocean for a couple of hours. I just had to share these beautiful pictures because it seems like we don't get to see them very often at the Oregon coast....

A Toddler's Version of Old McDonald
Zach's new favorite song is Old McDonald and he loves to make all of the animal noises and say e-i-e-i-o all strung together into one big vowel sound. Tonight I played Old McDonald on the piano for them a few times, and then they took over. What do you think?
Can you hear Zach saying 'moo moo cow' and 'e-i-e-i-o'? And then 'Done now' at the very end? Too funny. (Please pardon my horrible singing in the background...)

17 weeks
Well, I thought I would update everyone on how the pregnancy is going. I am 17 weeks today, so another 3 weeks and we'll have an ultrasound to find out the sex. In the mean time, I am definitely growing. My ribs are starting to feel a bit pushed up on already. Here's a photo...not the greatest one, but it gives you an idea.
