Kylie's first pool day

Wow, summer is here! Finally! It was in the mid-80's today so we got out the backyard pools and played in the water for hours!











I was worried that the water would be too cold for Kylie since it was straight from the hose, but she loved it!!









I love this pic, so sweet of my little girl snuggling with me. I love her so much! I am so grateful for my kids, all of them!! We have the best family of 7 ever!!

Kylie even ventured into the boys' pool! Until they all saw her in there and came splashing in and scared her off! : )

We had the double slip-n slide set up too!

And this is Kylie's princess car. She absolutely loves it! I love having both the boys and girls and seeing how different they are, yet how much they all love each other and can play together! I'm feeling very blessed today!

Father's Day Camping Trip

We went camping for Father's Day and had such a great time. I think we have started a new tradition, at least according to my dad! Mike got to come too for one night, which was so great!

Public Works Day

This last week we headed to Riverfront Park to Public Works Day. It was so fun! They had tons of equipment out, lots to do (face painting, balloons, stickers) and even a yummy lunch!






The boys loved 'Dora' who handed out candy.












And they got hard hats like Papa has at his work!

10 months old

My little girl is 10 months old now! I can hardly believe how big she is getting. Her little personality is coming out a bit more every day. She's such a sweet, caring girl who loves to give kisses and loves her siblings. She's also got a stubborn streak and doesn't like to be told no.



Today we enjoyed a bit of sun at Grandma and Papa's house and she enjoyed picking the petals off of grandma's pretty flowers.

Sleepy girl!

I was gone this morning signing the boys up for swim lessons and left the kids with our awesome babysitter, Megan. When I got home, we played for a few minutes and I fed the kids lunch. Kylie was apparently very tired!!





She is almost 10 months old now and I love this little girl SO much!! I am so blessed to have her!

We have been busy lately, but mostly with medical stuff. We all got a bug, and it turned nasty for Zachary, Kylie, and I. But we are all better now, so hopefully I will be better about blogging. Only one more day of preschool left, and a week and a half of school for Matthew and Kathryn. We hope to do lots of camping this summer, and Kathryn will spend a week at church camp. Matthew already has football and summer basketball practice each day, and summer football camp is quickly approaching. He went to a college recruiting event today in Portland for football and he is so excited. We are looking forward to a very busy but fun summer!!!
