New Harley

Well, Mike got a new bike. It is a Harley Davidson Road King and it is his dream bike! It pretty much fell into our lap and was a deal that we couldn't pass up, even though now was not the best time. But, sometimes you just gotta go for it!

This is a picture of Mike taking the bike for his first ride. It is such a big bike and he hasn't really ridden this kind of bike ever, so he was really nervous to ride it anywhere except in our driveway.

Of course the boys absolutely love it!

And yes, even I sat on it for the first time today.

Baby Shower

Today I was very blessed to have my baby shower. My friend Kelli threw it for me, it was at Sandi's house, mom did the food, and Meredith got the cake. It was so nice for friends to all pitch in and make this day very special for the baby and I. Here's a few pictures from the day....

Happy 4th of July!!! Wow, we had a busy day! Up early to head to the parade in Molalla. Everyone really enjoyed it. My parents' neighbors let us sit in the shade (thank goodness!) at their daughter's house that was right at the beginning of the parade route (aka more candy). The kids filled up a gallon bag of candy! And promptly ate quite a bit.

I'm not sure who loved the old cars the most....Mike and Matthew, or Zachary and Tyler. : ) I had to hear about the car facts on each old car that went by.

I didn't know Ronald McDonald even existed anymore!
